My Birthday and Mother's Day...

Here is My Birthday and Mother's day combined. We didn't do much for my birthday, just kept it real low key!

Look at the lovely Red Velvet cake. It was so yum. ( Matt didn't make it, but he did some excellent buying at the bakery) As always, Matt picks out some lovely flowers. I love getting flowers!



My biggest surprise was this...a new Yamaha digital piano. We move too much for me to mess around with a real piano. So we have been using a keyboard I got 8 years ago. The girls do well with it, but we wanted something that sounded and felt more like a real piano, and this one delivers! It has weighted keys that feel like a baby grand, and the tone is lovely.

Someday, when we are settled I will have a baby grand, but until then...this piano is a nice fit.

my mother's day flowers...so pretty!

Matt also got me some gourmet chocolate covered strawberries...soo good!
