San Diego over Presidents Day Weekend
For President's Day this year, Matt and the girls had a four day weekend. We decided to take advantage, and shot down to San Diego for a visit. While there we visited the San Diego Zoo, and Wild Life Park.

The panda bears were particularly active that day. We got to watch them eat, which was fascinating.
Both boys loved the zoo. The kept looking that way and this way, and rarely fussed.

Mom and Hunter
They didn't really like their sun hats, but they sure did look cute!

This is a picture of Hannah and Cora that Matt took while on the sky tram. The sky tram takes you across the whole park. Notice Cora's look of enjoyment, and Hannah's look of terror!
Sigh, she is getting so big. I can't believe she is almost 10.She enjoyed having her own camera and taking her own pictures. She took some really good ones too!

Anya loves Cheetah's and requested that this picture be taken.

Here I am with my girls at the Wild Life Park. This was such a neat experience. It is probably the closest we will ever be to seeing these animals in their natural habitat. There were probably 6 or 7 baby giraffe's that Cora loved. We also got to see a newborn baby elephant that had been born earlier that morning. I didn't get any pictures, but we got some video...it was a boy. They hadn't named him yet, but he was sure cute! It was fun to see him trying to nurse and move around for the first time.

Here is a picture of the LDS San Diego Temple. We went over to see it for the first time and enjoyed the view.It was a great weekend. We love San Diego. It would be a great town to settle down in...except it is so expensive, darn!

Classic picture of the girls on the road home.
Good bye San Diego, until next time!
Sea World 2010
We got to take advantage of Sea Worlds free Military day again this year. We went to the San Diego park, and the weather was perfect. I was a little worried, since this was the first time we had taken the boys to a theme park, but they did splendidly. The boys pretty much slept in their stroller the whole day.

Here we are in front of the flamingos.

Anya took this picture of Mr. Dolphin with her own camera. I thought she did really well!
We all got to feed the dolphins again this year. We were only fast enough to get a snap shot of Anya, since Hannah and Cora were still nervous ( I don't know why...) and pretty much just dumped their trays of fish in the tank. It was an amazing experience though. It wasn't very crowded, so we got to spend as much time with the Dolphin's as we wanted. Pretty cool to pet and chat with a dolphin!
Here is another picture Anya took with her camera. We had the rare opportunity of seeing a mother polar bear with her two cubs. Although the cubs are not so cubbish anymore. It was a great day filled with learning about marine life. We took in all the regular shows, although a few of our favorites were closed (The sea lion show). We also got to feed the sting rays, which we haven't done before. That was pretty cool, but very wet! We also rode the sky tram for the first time. Hannah and Cora were a bit nervous, but, obviously, they survived!
