5 years ago today...

I woke up early and arrived at the hospital at 6am to have labor induced. I was 39 weeks pregnant and ready to have this little munchkin out. After 4 hours of labor and my easiest delivery out of all my kids, Corinne Cate ( or Cora to all who know her) made her debut in the world.
Taking after the Jeppson side, Cora was 8 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long of pure beauty.
Don't you just want to squish and kiss those cheeks.

She took after her big sister, Anya, and was very thoughtful and studious as a baby.

Her first birthday. The cake was a winner!

By the time Cora was a month old, our moving adventures had begun. We drove from Utah to Virgina, and lived there for the summer. From Virginia we moved and drove to Texas...and the moving adventures continue as she grows up. She has always been good on the move and loves to travel. She frequently asks us where we are going "next week".
They grow up so fast! The day before her birthday, Cora kept asking me..."mom, are you going to be happy or sad on my birthday?" I told her that I was happy it was her birthday and such a special day...but very sad that my baby girl was 5 and growing up. She looked at me all exasperated and replied " mom, I just can't stop growing". Still, all the same, sometimes I would like to freeze time and keep my babies small...for just a bit longer!
Happy Birthday baby girl...we are sure glad to have your sweetness in our family!
