Anya's Birthday Extravaganza!
To start the celebration off, Anya had a sleep over with her best friend on Friday night.They stayed up until 2 a.m., this is how I found them the next morning.
Anya requested go-karts for her birthday, since she really didn't have a big party this year.
While there we played some Mini-golf too. Look at that form!

It Seems Like Yesterday...
It seems like yesterday I was 2 weeks overdue, waiting for the arrival of my first child and daughter. Now, 10 years later, I wonder "where did the time go". I was due March the 7th, but when two weeks later I still hadn't delivered her, it was decided that I would finally be induced on March 20th...the first day of spring. What a fitting day for the birth of my first daughter. Spring is a time of change, renewal and rebirth. All these things were present on that beautiful day. I woke up at 6am, got in the car with my bag and my husband and drove to the hospital. My labor went smooth and uneventful...pushing was another matter! After hours of pushing, a fat, healthy, screaming 9 pound 2 ounce Anya Ranae was born. For Matt and I it was love at first sight. Change, rebirth, renewal! Happy Birthday Anya. We sure do love you!
