Christmas Continued...

I ran out of space for pictures in the last post. So here is Christmas revisited...

Anya looks very pleased with this gift. She loves cats, and this is a "cat" a pult, you shoot cat figures.

The three new grandsons on the Gale side, or Great-Grandma Gales three newest great-grand children.

The best story of the day was centered around Great-Grandma Gale...who is still sharp and spry at a young age of 94. After Christmas dinner, we had some relatives tune into the party via Skype, or web cam. So we are all huddled around the laptop in the kitchen talking with our cousins, when grandma comes over. "what are you doing". We told her we are talking to TJ and his family. She kind of just smiles at us knowingly...like we are crazy for talking to a piece of plastic. She goes on to say that she hasn't seen a picture of the baby yet, and that the one on the screen is a good one. We tell her again..."grandma, its them in real life on the other side. We are talking to them, and we can see them too...like TV...go ahead grandma...talk to them". Again, she looks at us like we are crazy and headed to the nut house. She makes another comment " oh...that's TJ...He doesn't look like himself". We say, grandma, it is TJ...he can hear you, go ahead and say HI, he can hear you. Again, grandma just smiles at us like we are crazy, shakes her head and walks into the living room to sit on a couch. I guess it is pretty amazing to go from a life of mainly horse drawn carriages to a life where you can talk to a piece of plastic and have it respond. We had a great Christmas, and we were glad we could spend it with so many family members!
