I have a friend who has been wanting some Lebkuchen (ginger cookie/bread) from a bakery in a town called Waldsassen. I have gone a couple of times, and each time it has been closed! This last time we went as a family and decided to go into the Abbey there in the center of town. It was gorgeous!
I love all the Frescos on the ceilings and walls.
The girls especially loved this gentleman.
Still kind of creepy to have church services with these guys (6 or 7 around the whole perimeter of the abbey) looking at you.
