A few weekend ago we went to Great-Grandpa Overton's house to spend the day with him. He was a wonderful host, and had a bunch of projects ready for the kids to do. I remember him doing this for us, when we were kids going out to spend summer vacation with him. He would always have a bunch of things for us to do, to keep us busy and out of trouble. What a great Grandpa he is!! We sure do love him!
What are they doing, that has them all so captivated...
We are making Grandpa's famous sticky buns!!!
The Jeppson Great grand kids all around the table for lunch.Grandpa even remembered to buy juice boxes and individual goldfish cracker boxes for all the kids. They were thrilled!
Grandpa love to be outdoors, so another project the kids did was rake up the leaves in his front yard. This was very exciting for my kids, since they haven't raked, or jumped into a pile of leaves, since we lived in Texas 2 years ago. We don't have many trees or leaves out at Fort Irwin.
Anya and Dad were golfing, so it was just the four little ones raking.
Hunter loved his first fall leaves experience
So did Jack!
They are growing up so fast...I have to take picture opportunities any time I can.
Burying Hannah
Cora rolling around in the leaves. I think I was combing leaf particles out of Cora and Hannah's hair for days afterwards. But you can't beat the joy on their faces!
