Carving Away

Below are pictures of our pumpkin carving fest. It was a blast! We carved 5 pumpkins, one for each kid, Dad and Mom "helped" carve Jack and Hunter's pumpkins. We had a great time trying to keep the boys away from carving knives, out of pumpkin goo and any other mischief they might try. What an adventure, but we ended up with some mighty fine pumpkins!

After all the carving was done we made some crunchy eyeball cookies (donated and thanks to our good friends the Throcks). While eating our cookies we watched our annual pumpkin carving cartoon "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown".
It doesn't get much better then that!

You guys are so awesome!! We skipped that part this year and our children haven't mentioned it once. Is that bad to try and keep that tradition alive! hee hee
